HOURS: P/T position (24 - 30 hours a week). Some weekend availability is required.

DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Class Coordinator supports that Class Coordinator in overseeing the day-to-day administrative, customer service, and sales functions of the kitchen. This is a public-facing position with Customer Service as a primary focus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client correspondence via both email and phone.

  • Assist with class signups, private event scheduling, and all sales transactions.

  • Manage the class schedule and administrative spreadsheets.

  • Prepare and format printed materials for classes. 

  • Generate and organize marketing opportunities.

  • Administrative duties such as taking meeting notes, managing paper files, ordering office supplies, etc.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

  • Experience in customer service and/or sales.

  • Superior organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills. 

  • Ability to problem solve.

  • Exhibit strong initiative and ability to work independently. 

  • Superior personal skills.

  • Proficiency with both Google and Microsoft Suites. Fluency in Excel is a must.


Optional but Preferred: 

  • Familiarity with basic design software

  • Experience with scheduling and/or event management platforms
