In-Person Cooking Classes
Techniques Classes: Hands-on instruction focusing on a specific dish or culinary technique. Everyone in the class will get to work on a version of the dish or technique. While there are tasty samples to try during the class, the classes do not typically end in a meal.
Menu-Based Classes: These are collaborative classes with students sharing in the preparation of an overall menu that they sit down and enjoy together in the end. Try a Couples Cook version for you and your favorite cooking partner!

Parent and Me: Pies
Parent and Me: Pies
A class for young chefs and their parents to work together. We start with making a crust, move on to a seasonal filling, and then practice some lattice work! Recipe fillings are seasonal summer fruits showing up in the warmer months, while we rely upon the autumn harvest fruits in the fall and winter.
Registration is for two: one adult (18+) and one minor (ages 8-17).

Food Allergies and Aversions
Recipes in this class may include: eggs, gluten, and dairy. Please refer to our FAQ page for more information about how we can accommodate food allergies or aversions.
Cancellations
Due to limited spaces, classes at Baltimore Chef Shop are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, we will be happy to transfer your registration to a different class given 48-hours notice. While cancellations within 48 hours of the class are not eligible for transfers, we welcome you to send a friend in your place!
Class Format
This is a collaborative cooking class with guests sharing in the preparation of the various recipes included in the class menu. As a techniques based class each guest will be able to practice the necessary techniques for making pies but side dishes or additional recipes included to supplement the class will be shared amongst guests.
This class does not end with a sit-down meal, instead you can expect to leave with a goodie bag full of delicious treats prepared in class.
