HOURS: P/T flexible schedule. 15-20 hours a week

DESCRIPTION: The Production Assistant supports the Production Manager to ensure quantity and quality control of all food-related materials utilized in the cooking classes. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintains up-to-date inventory of all food and food-related supplies

  • Monitors quantity and functionality of culinary tools and equipment

  • Receives orders and verifies accuracy and quality of product

  • Maintains quality control on food-related and food storage items

  • Tracks temperature logs, egg logs, and shell stock tags

  • Assists in compiling paperwork for all associated purchasing activities and invoices

  • Builds ingredient bins for cooking classes

  • Facilitates class set up for assistants

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of production work spaces

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • ServSafe Certification

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute tasks with high level of accuracy

  • Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Exhibit strong initiative and ability to work independently

  • Ability to work weekends as necessary
