PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
HOURS: P/T flexible schedule. 15-20 hours a week
START DATE: Immediate.
DESCRIPTION: The Production Assistant supports the Production Manager to ensure quantity and quality control of all food-related materials utilized in the cooking classes.
Responsibilities:
Maintains up-to-date inventory of all food and food-related supplies
Monitors quantity and functionality of culinary tools and equipment
Receives orders and verifies accuracy and quality of product
Maintains quality control on food-related and food storage items
Tracks temperature logs, egg logs, and shell stock tags
Assists in compiling paperwork for all associated purchasing activities and invoices
Builds ingredient bins for cooking classes
Facilitates class set up for assistants
Maintains cleanliness and organization of production work spaces
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
ServSafe Certification
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Superior organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute tasks with high level of accuracy
Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills
Ability to problem solve
Exhibit strong initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to work weekends as necessary
